It is almost exactly like the ps3 controller however it isn't wireless. The controller it self works completely and even though the R2 and L2 button aren't like the ps3's, it still works fine. The controller is sort of hard to connect because it doesn't have a home/ps button in between the select and start but it should take less than 2-3 minutes to connect. When it was released, the PS2 had many advanced features that were not present in other contemporary video game consoles, including its DVD capabilities and USB and IEEE 1394 expansion ports.
Only a few million users had obtained consoles by the end of 2000 due to manufacturing delays.
Available in November 2004, it is smaller and thinner than the old version and includes a built-in Ethernet port.
